Sida is a government agency working on behalf of the Swedish parliament and government, with the mission to reduce poverty in the world. Through our work and in cooperation with others, we contribute to implementing Sweden’s Policy for Global Development.
Sida works on behalf of the government actively to increase the number of Swedes in international organizations and institutions to strengthen the conditions for achieving the Swedish development cooperation goals and return knowledge to development cooperation actors in Sweden.

The Swedish Police Information Technology Department
As a co worker at the Swedish Police IT-Department you will be take part of the development within many exciting operations. With us you can make a difference - for a more effective police activity and for a secure and democratic society.
Our focus is to generate organisation utility - with a very high development rate and modern technology, based on agile principles and approaches.
The Swedish Police IT-Department deliver support to all of the Police authority and its 29 500 co workers. The IT-Department has about 750 employees who together handle development, management and service of IT support to the Authority's various areas of activity. We also cooperate in technical matters with other law enforcement agencies within the country and actively contribute to the law enforcement work within the EU.
The department is also responsible for acquiring IT systems and IT applications as well as introducing them to the Police Agency's operations. The IT department also has a functional responsibility for the part of security and business protection that includes IT and information security as well as signal protection.

The School of Entrepreneurship
The school of entrepreneurship is aimed at anyone studying an educational program in technology and natural sciences. During this one year you will be able to use your specialist skills to run a commercial project from idea to realization. At the same time you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in subjects like business planning, market analysis, intellectual property law, and business law, but also gain knowledge on how to start a company and how to lead and run development projects that are technology based.
